- Who is responsible for paying duties and taxes on international shipments?
The recipient of the package is responsible for any duties and import taxes due at the time of delivery. These are not included in the price you pay when placing your order and must be paid directly to Customs when you receive your package.
- How much do I need to pay for import duties?
The amount of customs duty varies depending on the country and its tariff policies. Please note that our international shipping option is USPS First Class. The amount of customs duty depends on your country’s customs regulations. For USPS First Class shipments, we generally declare an invoice value between $20 USD and $150 USD and mark the package as a gift. This is intended to minimize import duties, but the final amount is subject to your country’s tariff policies.
- What will we do to reduce your import tax?
If you have specific requirements for the declared value of the invoice, please contact us at service@ecopurifywater.com. We will adjust the declared value according to your instructions. If no specific instructions are provided, we typically declare the value between $20 USD and $150 USD, depending on the weight and size of the package.
- What will we do if your package encounters customs clearance issues?
If your package faces customs clearance issues, we will cover the customs clearance fees and provide you with the shipping invoice, which you will need to present to customs. Additionally, we will assist you by contacting USPS to help resolve the situation.
